Choose community

Use Choose community to manage the professional communities attached to your user account.

The page has two groups:

  • My Communities — communities you have already joined;
  • Communities you can join — other available communities.

Each row shows the community name, description, and actions. Use the search field to filter both groups by community name and Clear to remove the filter.

Join a community

  1. Open Choose community.
  2. Search for the community by name if needed.
  3. Select View if you want to inspect its summary first.
  4. Select Join.

The community moves to My Communities and becomes available under Explore Communities in the Sidebar. The Sidebar contains joined communities only.

Leave a community

  1. Find the community under My Communities.
  2. Select Leave.

The community is removed from your personal Sidebar and discovery set. Shared categories, products, catalogs, companies, experts, and your company records are not deleted.

View without joining

Select View to open a community summary. Public community content may be browsed without membership. Joining is what adds the community to your personal Sidebar and makes it convenient to return to its sections.

Common questions

Why is a community not in my Sidebar?
The Sidebar shows only joined communities. Join it on this page.

Does joining give me editing access?
No. Company access and application roles are managed separately.

Can I join more than one?
Yes. Join the domains that are relevant to your work and leave those you no longer need.
